Yes, F1 has a build in heating system that it will only turned on when the ambient temperature is below the target one. It serves as an supportive heating function to assist during the fermentation processes.

Feel free to add extra fermentaion days if you add extra ingredient into the brew kits. For example, adding honey into the brew will require extra 2-3 days fermentation.

F1 has built in sensor for pressure, once detect abnormal pressure level( high CO2 level):

1, The machine wont be automatically adjust the setting for the three brew kits: Pale Ale, Amber Lager and Bavarian Wheat. In stead , it will give a warning alert and stop the brewing process. This is because those three brewing program were not set to adopt the automatically pressure adjustment feature.

2, The machine will automatically adjust the setting if the program was set to be any other iGULU BREW KITS in the future. When high level CO2 was detected, the machine will enroll itself into the next stage of pre-set progress ( shorthen the brewing time) for quality control purpose.

3, The machine wont be automatically adjust if the program was set under the master brew mode. for customized brew type and ingredient. once pressure goes above the pre-set ( normal) level, the machine will generate error code and warnning instead of over-ride the master brew setting.

Please firstly make sure the machine is not under another brewing option and RFID card is placed at the right spot: the G in igulu logo.

Some of the F1 in our early shipment may not be able to detect the RFID card that has been updated afterward: The machine and the card are set under different " communicantion agreement"

Solution:

Please select the stage from the touch screen, for example " Pale Ale-3 stage" and touch to start. It will work the same as RFID scan.

If the pressure is too high, the machine will alert you on the display, and the machine led light will turn red, and then you can manually release the pressure by loosing the tube. This is because releasing too much pressure may affect the taste.

If there is warning from pressure, led will turn red and screen will hint user on abnormal pressure. Just lift pressure valve on the lid to release co2 in the tank.

35 psi is considered a normal pressure during  regualr fermentation. and the safe and max. value of the fermentation tank is 56 psi.

There is a build in pressure sensor and relief that will automatic relief pressure when exceeds 56 for safety.

1. There is a pressure sensor on the mainboard inside the machine to detect pressure, so the gas pipe must be connected in order to detect the pressure.
2. When the gas pipe is connected, the display will show the real-time and accurate pressure inside the fermentation tank.
3. When the pressure inside the fermentation tank is too high, the orange pressure relief valve on the fermentation tank lid will automatically release pressure. There is also an additional safety valve inside the machine to release excessive pressure, so there is no need to worry about safety issues.
4. To avoid over-carbonation of beer and excessive foam during tapping, it is also recommended to gently lift the pressure relief valve during the fermentation process to release some pressure and lower the air pressure.
5. During the end of fermentation and the beer chilling process, the machine will detect the pressure. When the pressure is too low, the CO2 cylinder will supplement the appropriate pressure of CO2, resulting in a lower pressure value.

When fermenting, the iGulu F1 typically remains odorless unless subjected to abnormally high pressure or when the user manually lifts the pressure release on the fermentation tank lid.
